Cat skiing & boarding is fantastic backcountry skiing. Terrain is predominately gladded tree skiing, with occasional tree bands leading into open chutes suitable for advanced intermediate to advanced type skier. Trips consist of a full day of cat skiing, lunch & the use of avalanche transceivers. Single & multi-day options are available. The backcountry lodge features a large living area, dining room, eight bedrooms & 3 with private bathrooms. Transfer to & from the lodge and cat ski rentals are extra. Fernie Wilderness Adventures also offer ice fishing & wildlife viewing packages & fly-fishing float trips in the summer.
